Challenges
H&M Tirubala wanted to automate the dispatch validations to get an error free packaging dispatched to their warehouse.
Manual processes for dispatch validation were becoming extremely time taking and began to cause errors and inefficiencies resulting in poor control and visibility of inventory.
Poor material management, at the vendors’ side meant increased errors in dispatch, material receiving hence. This further caused delays in material receiving and therefore affected the overall customer experience for H&M
Additional man hours due to the entire process being manual at the vendors’ end, H&M was forced to rely on more man-power to handle the material being received and check for errors. This also meant more time and resources were spent on sorting, searching, and managing the material received
